Books! Books! I’m Giving Away Books!

But nevermind that for a second. Because bring on Thanksgiving Break—that’s what I have to say! And Christmas Break, and Spring Break and all the other breaks currently staring me in the face and teasing me with their far-offness. Oh, I realize Thanksgiving break is just next week. I realize it’s only eight short weekdays away. But I have to actually WORK those eight days to get there, which makes life just totally unfair. I want pie now, and my mom won’t make me one until next week! Waaaa!!

Sorry, I’m whining.

But I’m tired. I’m tired and I’m worn out and I’m an emotional wreck, what with a book release and all these nice strangers sending me so many kind words about my book. A couple of them even sent me chocolate (I like those people best, but don’t tell anyone). And speaking of gifts, to the sweet neighbor who placed a bag of Snickers bars on my doorstep a couple days ago without leaving a name: I have no idea who you are, but I’m certain we should be best friends. Because everyone knows the deepest friendships develop over a bag chocolate-covered nougat, especially when that nougat is topped with caramel and peanutty goodness. I’ve stayed friends with people from kindergarten for this very reason.

I’ve also ended friendships with people who tried to steal mine, but that’s a whole other story.

Speaking of stories, I’m giving away a paperback of my book! Plus, a Kindle version! Plus a Starbucks card! To three different people! All because I’m in the mood to celebrate!

All you have to do is comment below. You have until Wednesday to get that done, then three people will be randomly drawn and I’ll announce the winners on Thursday morning. Sound good? Okay, then get to commenting!

Talk to you Thursday!

Loving the book so far. Maybe today, when everyone goes to school and work, I can read some more. I could probably finish the whole thing if you’d come do my laundry. We can keep it our little secret because obviously you can’t do laundry for all your readers….just make a street only rule.

A street only rule? What a great idea! Except I don’t want to do everyone’s laundry… Maybe I could eat everyone’s ice cream instead??
      Thank you, Christy! 🙂

Amy, I am so happy for you! You deserve every bit of chocolate that comes your way.

Can I enter your contest? Does being your Mom disqualify me? Doesn’t hurt to ask!

Amy, I ordered my book Saturday and cannot wait for its arrival!!!! And I’m like Christy only let’s make it chocolate instead of ice cream! Unless, of course, it’s snickers ice cream!

LOVED LOVED LOVED your book. Did not know what to expect but I was not prepared for the awesomness that ensued, could not put it down, read it in one sitting! Fell in love with the characters and they made me laugh so hard. Cannot wait to read many more from you! God Bless and happy belated birthday 🙂
